A keyboard, a set of shortcuts, a model of your writing, and an optional AI layer on top. Each part is useful on its own; together they are why you stop typing so much.
The keyboard
A keyboard you would use even without the AI.
None of the clever parts matter if the basics are wrong. SprintText is a complete iOS keyboard first: letters, numbers, symbols, autocorrect, auto-capitalisation, the double-space period, smart punctuation and haptics.
- Three full layouts. Letters, numbers and symbols, laid out where your thumbs already expect them.
- Autocorrect you can dial in. Four levels, from suggest-only to aggressive, because one setting never suits everyone.
- Light, dark or system. Set the keyboard’s appearance independently of the rest of your phone if you want to.
- No Full Access required. Typing, expansion and suggestions all work without granting it.
Sprint Shortcuts
The fastest thing you can do is not type at all.
Give a phrase a short trigger. Type the trigger, press space or punctuation, and the phrase appears. It sounds small until you notice how many sentences you write more than once.
- Capitalisation follows you. Type yyy and you get the sentence. Type Yyy and it comes back capitalised.
- Placeholders. Drop
{date},{time}or{weekday}into an expansion and they resolve as you type.{cursor}decides where your caret lands. - Undo is one keystroke. Backspace immediately after an expansion and your trigger comes back exactly as typed.
- Guard rails. A minimum trigger length stops a one-character typo detonating a paragraph, and word-boundary rules mean yyy never fires inside a word like “myyy”.
Sprint Complete
Prediction that has read your writing, not the internet’s.
The bar above the keys is the second way SprintText saves you keystrokes. Today it surfaces your shortcuts as you type their triggers. As Sprint Complete lands it will offer whole phrases and clauses drawn from the way you write.

Your phrases, ranked by you
A generic model suggests the most common continuation in English. Sprint Complete suggests the one you have written before, ordered by how often you actually use it.

Three slots, no clutter
Shortcut matches, predictions and corrections compete for the same three slots and are ranked together, so the bar never fills with noise.

Corrections that learn
Undo the same autocorrect twice and it should stop happening. SprintText records the reversal as a signal, not a coincidence.
Brain and AI
The learned part, and the optional part.
These are deliberately separate. One is a model of you that lives on your device. The other is a cloud service you invoke on purpose.
